I am the scientific coordinator of the international research consortium <a href=\"https:\/\/ethik.geschichte.med.blogs.ruhr-uni-bochum.de\/?page_id=1402\">VIRTUETHIC<\/a> and coordinate the Bochum <a href=\"https:\/\/bochum-salus-project.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SALUS<\/a> project together with Jakov Gather. Previously, I worked on the <a href=\"https:\/\/ethik.geschichte.med.blogs.ruhr-uni-bochum.de\/en\/past-projects\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ENSURE<\/a> project and was principal investigator for the projects <a href=\"https:\/\/ethik.geschichte.med.blogs.ruhr-uni-bochum.de\/en\/equalise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EQUALISE<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ethik.geschichte.med.blogs.ruhr-uni-bochum.de\/en\/humanmed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HumanMeD<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Amsterdam. I am a member of the Editorial Boards of The Journal of Ethics and BMC Medical Ethics, and a member of the Research Ethics Committee of the Medical Association Westphalia-Lippe.
