Dr. phil. Jochen Vollmann is a physician and medical ethicist. He directs the Institute for Medical Ethics and History of Medicine at the Ruhr-University Bochum.\r\n\r\nProf. Dr. med. Dr. phil. Prof. Vollmann was Visiting Fellow at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics, Georgetown University Washington, DC and Visiting Professor at the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine and at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, at the Institute for the Medical Humanities UTMB, the Centre for Values, Ethics and the Law in Medicine at the University of Sydney and the Department of Ethics, Kyoto University.
